Ebony Horsewomen, Inc. Equestrian and Therapeutic Center is a nationally recognized 501(c) (3) nonprofit equine therapy organization, urban riding, and wellness center founded in 1984 to heal, encourage and enable people to lead healthful and positive lives by using horses. Based in Hartford, CT, for the past 35 years, EHI has been a leader in culturally competent equine-assisted psychotherapy, equine-assisted therapy, and riding lessons for adults and youth. EHI also provides holistic equine-based programming, CEU-accredited, NASW-approved equine therapy workshops, and EAP certification training for mental health professionals and horse specialists. EHI has helped improve the lives of those who've participated in our programs tremendously.
